We're expanding our Raven District Unit Commissioner Corps and we want you to be a part of it!  
Being a Unit Commissioner can require as little as a single monthly phone call or a short friendly "Hi, how have you been doing?" conversation at our monthly Round Table meeting and keeping a record of it.

The goal is high and easily attainable, we only need one person from each Unit to be a helpful & friendly Unit Commissioner but bigger is better and all are welcome.

We look forward to your acceptance of this invitation for possible Unit Commissionership as we continue to strengthen our Districts position in the Council and further solidify our existing Commissioners Corps.

You'll be eligible to join us at the 2009 Commissioners Conference being held December 5th at the Cockrell Scout Center . Additionally this meeting will count towards your Unit Commissioners Arrowhead Honor Award.

Attend the upcoming Commissioner Conference on December 5th at the Council Service Center. You and all your Unit Commissioners, Roundtable Commissioners/staff, and ADC's should attend.

With over 45 courses to choose from there are plenty of options, but register soon to get your first pick of courses! This year's keynote speaker will be Larry Kellner, CEO of Continental Airlines, so we are expecting a larger than usual turnout. Also at the Conference, we will be signing up a special volunteer team of Commissioners who will have the opportunity to work at the Centennial Gala at Minute Maid Park in February. This is a unique chance to participate in a very special way with in a once-in-a-lifetime event!
